Pathway for High School Students
• Apply to NCC (apply.ncc.edu) Be sure to indicate joint admissions with Hofstra University.
• Major in one of five STEM (Biology, Computer Science, Engineering Science, Liberal Arts and Science – Math and Science, or Mathematics) NCC programs and plan to transfer to one of 25 STEM programs at HU.
• Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov. The 2024–25 FAFSA® form will be available in December 2023. Learn how to prepare for and stay informed about the FAFSA launch.
• Demonstrate academic potential, including a GPA of 3.0 or an 80% average in high school.
• Applications are now open for Class of 2024 high school students entering college in Fall 2024. Applications are due June 28, 2024. For an application email Professor Lee at jacqueline.lee@ncc.edu
• Provide a letter of recommendation from a science or math teacher. Email the letter to Professor Lee at jacqueline.lee@ncc.edu

• Up to $10,000 per year in scholarship support
• An additional $2,000 stipend to conduct hands-on research during July 2024
